St Louis Wedding Photography Pecan Farm Photos

It’s not every day your groom’s family owns a pecan farm. In fact, before we met Kelsey and Adam, we did not even KNOW there were pecan farms. But, between their engagement session and the wedding day, we visited this gorgeous place twice. Like almost all of our weddings this spring, we had…you guessed it…RAIN. It rained pretty heavily during the ceremony, but thankfully it eased off afterwards and only rained for a few minutes right at the end of our photo time (with just enough of it to get a few great rain photos).

Despite the wet weather, no one’s spirits were dampened, and we were able to have a great day. Kelsey had gone to great lengths getting all the decor and details for the reception planned and executed, and I have never seen Turner Hall look as lovely. All of her gold and navy details were beautiful!

Every wedding day is memorable, of course, but some have extra special moments. We found out when we arrived at the reception that Adam’s mother had arranged some St. Louis Blues themed surprises for everyone. The first was Blue’s national anthem singer, Charles Glen, singing as the bridal party made their grand entrance. Kelsey and Adam were so confused (as they couldn’t see what was happening), but as soon as we got them to come in, they were delighted. Later in the evening, they were again surprised as Louie and The Towel Man came to the dance floor and had a fun time with everyone. Now, you don’t see that every day!
