Sparkling Blues | Jessica & Brendan Wedding

Even though Jessica and Brendan are one of those rare couples that we do not meet until the day of the wedding, it did not take long for us to realize how much we enjoyed being with them. We were looking forward to the day for many reasons (the reception being at the amazing Coronado Ballroom, starting the day out at the Ritz-Carlton,  and the ceremony at the Graham Chapel at Washington University), but once we knew how awesome people these two were, it made it all the better.  There was so much joy and love from the friends and family that it made for such a wonderful day to photograph. When we are working with people for the first time, it can sometimes take a while to build trust so that we can try some new and unusual ideas without freaking a couple out. But, they were completely behind us and were totally on board for anything we came up with. They were getting just as excited as we were with everything we did. Because of that, we love the photographs that we were able to create.

Here are some of our favorites from the day. We hope you enjoy looking at them as much as we enjoy them ourselves. Huge congrats to Jessie and Brendan…so thankful that you found us and that we were able to get to spend your wedding day with you.

She is one of the best planners in all of St. Louis, and she not only does a fantastic job with our clients, but she also helps make our job even easier (which lets us work even harder to create better photos)

P.S. The reception was at the Coronado, as we mentioned. This was our first time shooting there, and we have to say, it is without a doubt one of the very best St. Louis wedding reception venues. The building and the staff were incredible. I know how much we as the photographers felt taken care of by the staff, and I am sure it was ten times over for the guests. If you are considering having your wedding there, just do it. You will be very glad you did.
