Engagement Session// Kayla + Tim

Spring Engagement Session at Faust Park with Kayla and Tim by St. Louis Wedding Photographers Joel & Shannon

Kayla and Tim met when Kayla was working with Tim’s little sister. She would come home and tell him all about her, but it was several months before he finally called her. They made their relationship official the night before Valentine’s and it was 2 1/2 years later when Tim proposed. Kayla is very close to her brother, who lives in Virginia  Beach, so Tim had planned the proposal for when he and his wife (also Kayla) would be in town. They were going out to dinner and had come over to her mom’s house for some photos beforehand. (They are a big picture family, which of course we love!). While they were waiting for the photos, Tim got down on one knee and proposed, all the while Kayla’s sister-in-law was filming it unbeknownst to her! Kayla says she doesn’t remember anything Tim said, she was so excited 🙂

Joel asked Tim what he loves about Kayla, and he said:

“I love Kayla’s smile and her eyes. When she laughs, she snorts which is really cute. And when she talks, her lips kinda curl up, which is hard to explain but I love it. One of her little quirks. I guess you can say I love everything about her. She loves to cuddle and she so tiny, she fits right under my arm for a perfect fit. That’s pretty much the jist of it, I could go on and on but I gotta come to an end somewhere hahaha.”
